i want to smooch your brain on the hills of spain...
so a few things to update on/bring awareness....
1. Im participating in whats called the "Gulu Walk" tomorrow....
its a 12k walk that happens in over 80 cities...mainly to raise awareness about the 20 year-long war thats currently happening in Uganda. The idea is that one will be able to experience/walk what thousands of children have to walk evey night to ensure that they dont get kidnapped from their villages in the night (some taken for soldiers and sex-slaves for the LRArmy ....) for more info....www.guluwalk.com....

SO ..FRIENDS! read up on it! pray for me that ill experience something that will move me (oh ahahaha...what a great pun)...and if you wish to donate...i know its a little late...but you can still donate!!! (go to the site)
Im also doing a big-bum essay on the effects of HIV/AIDS on development in Uganda....whats up with the Uganda themes lately?
Today I went to a seminar on post-colonial racism and knowledge paradigms amoung indiginous cultures in Guyana. AND HOLY SHIZA....IT WAS LIKE all of York's genius (genei?) gathered to philosophize using the most ellaborate discourse/vocabulary available...i felt quite insignificant...however...IT ALSO MADE ME WANT TO FEED MY BRAIN with as much information as possible...dedicate my life to the pursuit of THE truth....and truth outside of a western way of gaining knowledge....
well. just had to get that off my chest.
does anyone else want an enormous brain...or am i just a NERD. ?
there is more...but i need to be more productive on a friday night...wow..im such a party ANIMAL! oh....tear...

I was supposed to go on Gulu walk too - I was rather excited about it actually but then the events of this past week have just made me forget things. So I forgot about it and then Capetown came to see me. You are taking some International courses right? I can't remember if we are precisly replicating each other's lives in different cities or not. haha...but I know that the ones I'm taking totally make me think about the sort of thing you're talking about all the time. I really like being aware though! As for wanting an enormous brain - YES! I often wish I could bottle the genius of others and transfer it to my brain.

well, more like the reverse...I spoke to you after I wrote it. But yeah, these things are in my head all the time. Ahhh. I'm soo hungry right now. I've only had a little bowl of cereal this morning - and dinner is taking forever to be made...tacos. My poor tummy.
